Sportsbook Poker Affiliate Program Review
The affiliate program at Sportsbook.com is run by Commission Account, which also runs affiliate programs for Players Only and SuperBook. Perks of the program include accurate up-to-stats, on-time payments and an extensive marketing tool center. Like their name suggests, Sportsbook.com offers a sportsbook as well as a casino and horse race betting.
When Sportsbook.com moved from the Cake Network to Merge Gaming, they not only drastically increased the number of players on the network but also brought in a lot of fish as well (sports betters don’t always make the greatest poker players). Publishers of Sportsbook.com are paid by CPA at a rate of $135 per player. To get paid for each player, they must deposit $25 or more and rake at least $15.
The $200 instant bonus option is very desirable for players that don’t wish to risk any of their own money when playing poker. In addition, the Merge Network provides a fun playing environment for players. This is especially highlighted by their software. Unique features in the software include animated smileys, Run-It-Twice and even Rabbit-Hunting.
Sportsbook Poker Room Review
Originally launched on the Cake Poker Network in 2007, Sportsbook.com moved to the Merge Gaming Network in 2010 and has since played a major role in drastically increasing the size of the network. Unlike many Merge Gaming sites, Sportsbook.com does not accept players from the USA. The medium-large network is the 10th largest in terms of real money traffic and the largest to accept Americans (although the site does not currently accept existing players). They average 2,300 real money cash game players during peak times, which is around 02:00 GMT. They average 1,600 real money players throughout the course of the day. Most of the ring game and tournament action is at No Limit Hold'em, but players can also see activity at the Fixed Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha tables. They also provide tables in games such as Pot Limit Hold'em, as well as various versions of Omaha, Stud and Draw. Merge Gaming also offers a large selection of multi-game action such as HORSE and RASH. Sit N Gos are also quite popular at Sportsbook.com. Like the ring games, most of the Sit N Go traffic is at the No Limit Hold'em tables, but Fixed Limit and Pot Limit varieties of Hold'em and Omaha also can be seen running. There is plenty of action available for multi-table tournament players as well. The network claims to have over $3 million a month in guaranteed tournaments with daily guaranteed tournaments reaching $10,000 and the premier $100+$9 Sunday event providing players with a $50,000 guarantee.
Sportsbook.com gives players the choice of one of two sign-up bonuses: $200 instant cash or a 100% up to $650 sign-up bonus. With the instant cash bonus, players will be given $200 to play with at the tables. Players will be able to withdraw the bonus once the requirements of the bonus have been met. The second bonus option is a deposit bonus with a 100% up to $650 match. Both bonuses have the same clearance terms: players must earn 75 VIP Points per $1 of bonus money to clear the bonus. VIP Points are earned at Sportsbook.com at a rate of 10 VIPs per $1 in contributed rake or tournament fees. The bonuses clear at an equivalent rakeback rate of just over 13%. Bonuses will release in $5 increments and expire after 90 days.
Sportsbook.com does not offer rakeback but instead offers a VIP program which can mirror the benefits of rakeback. The VIP program consists of the following perks: cash exchanges, monthly invite-only freerolls, monthly reload bonuses and the use of VIP Points for tournament entries. The higher VIP status the player achieves the larger and more attractive the perks will be. VIP Points can be exchanged for cash at a rate of $10 for every 1,000 VIP Points, the equivalent of 10% rakeback.
Existing players from the USA -- who registered prior to May 1st -- can deposit with Visa, local Cash Transfers or Usemywallet if you have an account at the e-wallet. If you don't have an account you must be an active member of Sportsbook.com for three months and have made previous deposits of $500 or more. Withdrawals must be made via wire transfer, Usesmywallet or check. Players can make one withdrawal per month for free using a check or wire transfer, but significant fees are accessed for subsequent withdrawals. For non-USA players, they can also deposit with Neteller, Moneybookers and Ecocard.
