Red Star Poker has established themselves on the Cake Poker Network for many years as a reliable site. While promoting Red Star Poker to USA players is not usually beneficial -- they accept players from the USA but do not allow them to receive rakeback-- they are still a viable option of promotion to non-USA players, especially those in Western Europe and Russia.

Rakeback affiliates start out at 38% (note that 33% of that is paid to players in the form of rakeback), move up to 41% at $15,000 in MGR and max out at 44% for MGR of $50,000 or more.

No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha are the most popular cash games, with limited action also available at Fixed Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo. No Limit Hold'em Sit N Gos are offered with buy-ins exceeding $1,000, with most of the action occurring at the buy-in levels less than $100. Sit N Gos are also offered for Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha and Limit Omaha games but run relatively infrequently. Rakeback players earn 0.50 FPPs for every $1 in rake collected at the table or 3.5 per $1 of fees at tournaments. When cleared alone, this is the equivalent of 27% rakeback at full ring, 18% shorthanded and 21% at tournaments. Non-rakeback players will earn FPPs at twice the rakeback rate, and as a result, will earn twice the return. Bonuses release in $10 increments and expire after 90 days. Red Star Poker also offers periodic reload bonuses to players that will clear at the same rate as the sign-up bonus.
Red Star Poker offers 33% rakeback to players (except for North American players). Rakeback at Red Star Poker is based on the dealt calculation method, meaning all players receive rakeback for each hand, assuming rake has been taken, regardless of whether a contribution to the pot has been made or not. Rakeback at Red Star Poker is paid each Thursday for the previous Wednesday through Tuesday period. Stats are updated daily, however. Nothing is deducted from MGR at Red Star Poker, so players are able to get full benefit from the lucrative Cake Network promotions such as Loyalty Level Rewards, Gold Chips, Gold Cards and sign-up/reload bonuses.
