Merged PAS rooms private rake race

Last week I was talking with huge player (raking $15k a month). He wanted to play on some good iPoker deal and he decided to use PokerStrategys WillHill (pity for me ) because of their great $80,000 race - more info here (sorry for link, but has sense in explanation):

When I was talking with him what I can offer him I studied closelly also the deal he has found there and I must say I think their rake race is very good idea in my opinion. It doesnt matter what rooms a player plays in. They have simply private race for their forum members, like we may do for PAS registered users/players.

They award different number of points in the leaderboard for $1 rake in different rooms. For example at WH they give player 5 points per $1 raked.

This has one huge advantage in my opinion. If this player was looking for iPoker room, he has find iPoker room with $80,000 race. If he would be looking for Party, he has found Party with $80,000 race (3.5 points in the race per $1), or Bossmedia? Poker Heaven with $80,000 race (4 points in the race per €1) and so on.

So, there is race for $80,000 on many rooms, but guess what - it costs only $80,000 We track the rake for many PAS rooms, so there should not be a problem to get this running I think. I dont know what pokerrooms will say to this, but if PS was able to do that, why shouldnt we be able to do that too. I dont know if PS or rooms pay for the race. Maybe rooms pay it and according to what amount they pay their rake makes more or less points in the race.

It is just starting idea, please tell me what do you think about it. Maybe this will be able to make PAS iPoker rooms more competitive. And maybe other rooms too. There is nothing being said like there couldnt be some PAS race for near all the rooms together and some private PAS race for some room separate too. The discussion is just opened...

Please tell me what do you rhink about this, if this has a chance? I just found it interesting, so I post it here.
