    Hi Broker,

There isn't a formal write-up yet for the 301 redirect feature yet, at least that I know of. It's located under Website Management within the CMS. When you create a new redirect page, you'll enter the relative path to your old page of content, the absolute URL it should redirect to, and the status code (301, 302). Happy coding!

So when you create a new page, you pretty much leave it blank and it just transfers to the new page? So how will creating a new page, that essentially has no content on it, help said content rank better in Google? Am I just being simple here? What's the point of a 301 re direct then?

I'm not sure I follow completely..

You'd take your old content out from some ugly url:
    http://mysite.com/path/to/old/conten...query/09ds09k3

And move it to a new page (internal/external link):
    http://mysite.com/articles/better-for-seo.html

After setting up the redirect, requests for both
    http://mysite.com/path/to/old/conten...query/09ds09k3 [301-permanent redirect]
    http://mysite.com/articles/better-for-seo.html [200-ok]

return the content. When Google next indexes your site, the 301 is a flag that will update the existing index with the new URL.
