Free Drag the Bar Coaching Available Through PAS

PAS publishers can now promote Free Poker Coaching through Drag the Bar when players register at Cake Poker, Aced (Merge Gaming), Carbon Poker (Merge Gaming), Black Chip Poker (Merge Gaming) and Party Poker! This promotion costs nothing to publishers or players!


What is Drag the Bar?

Drag the Bar is a Top Poker Coaching Site offering FREE full-access membership to PAS players which includes:

• 30 coaches
• Videos covering No Limit Hold'em, Limit Hold'em, Multit-table tournaments and Sit N Gos
• An average of forty new videos are added each month to the library of 1,000+

How can my players receive Free Access to Drag the Bar?

After signing up through a participating PAS publishers, players must meet a small MGR/points requirement to receive their first month of Drag the Bar coaching. See the step-by-step guide for players at the bottom of this post.

Aced: $1 in rake
Black Chip Poker: $1 in rake
Cake Poker: $1 in rake
Carbon Poker: $1 in rake
Party Poker: $1 in rake

Players can receive access in subsequent months by generating $500 in rake.


How do I instruct my players to get this offer?

Players must follow four simple steps....

1. Register at any of the participating poker rooms through your site. These rooms currently are: Carbon Poker, Black Chip Poker and Party Poker
   
2. Generate the required amount of rake/points during their first month. This will vary according to the the room:
   
   Aced: $1 in rake
   Black Chip Poker: $1 in rake
   Cake Poker: $1 in rake
   Carbon Poker: $1 in rake
   Party Poker: $1 in rake
   
   
3. AFTER the player has generated the required amount of rake, they must use the appropriate link and follow the simple sign-up instructions.
   
   Aced
   Black Chip Poker
   Cake Poker
   Carbon Poker
   Party Poker
   
   
4. A couple days later, they will receive their first month of Drag the Bar. Players can qualify for subsequent months by generating $500 or more in rake per month.

So, if we don´t pay, and players dont pay, how does DTB earn money ? (I know they are not giving my players coaching just because they like to give something for free.)

I have seen affiliates say on forums that they get mails from DTB, so why should i send my players to DTB ? I am sorry, I don´t see the trick here, unless they don´t promote any poker rooms what so ever !

That is a great question and happy to answer. When someone opts in to the DTB4FREE program with Carbon, Black Chip or Party they are then tagged as members coming from those sites. Each video has an intro from their respective site, "Poker Training Brought To You By Carbon Poker" is shown as an intro. We remove the rakeback links we have inside the My Account page so you do not risk losing the player.

Also, it's just as important to the card room that we don't show any other offers as they are paying us for the training to help them acquire, retain and increase their player values. We have to protect the card room or they won't be happy with us :-)

I am curious to where you have read about us sending e-mails out to these members so I can look into it. PM me is you are more comfortable or am I fine discussing in the forum.

No problem. We have nothing to hide and this service is to benefit affiliates, card rooms and DTB so it is important that everyone is protected and we certainly understand that you would be hesitant to send your players to another site!

I'm a little confused about how to include this offer on my site. In order for the player to be able to sign up do I simply create a page including the sign up links for each poker room? If so, are there any banners/graphics available containing the links?

You can create a page or just have an link, although its probably best to include instructions of some kind for your players. I think it's confusing because you might expect the process to be more difficult (at least it did for me when I first learned of the promotion). A player signs up for this promotion after they downloaded the poker room software (Carbon, Party, Black Chip, Cake), plays the minimum amount and then sign-ups through the link.
