  1. Coral Poker $25 No Deposit Bonus Running This February

    by , 01-26-2012 at 03:58 PM
During February, PokerAffiliateSolutions and Coral Poker are brining back the $25 No Deposit Bonus that we offered last fall. Unlike the previous bonus we offered -- which was limited in availability to former Eurobet players -- this bonus offer will be offered to all new players. This bonus presents a great opportunity for PAS publishers to promote an offer that does not require a deposit. Please note that this bonus will only be open to the first 100 players that request the offer.

    Sign-Up Steps

Players must follow three simple steps to receive this bonus:

    1) The player must use Coral Poker links through a PAS site
    2) Signs up to Coral Poker
    3) Email Coral Poker at pokerpromotions@galacoral.com asking to be credited with $25 No Deposit Bonus.

The player will then receive the $25 bonus within 3 business days while tracking is double checked. Once the bonus is issued, 100 Player Points must be earned, which is the equivalent of about $28 in rake. There is no time limit on completion of the bonus.

    About Coral Poker

Other perks of signing up for Coral Poker include a 100% up to $1,000 sign-up bonus and a VIP program that yields up to $690 in cash bonuses per week.

  2. Weekly Update September 25: DOJ Amends Full Tilt Civil Complaint

    by , 09-25-2011 at 01:03 PM
More big Full Tilt Poker news this week as the Department of Justice amended the civil complaint against the company. Meanwhile, investor negotiations are reportedly progressing with a letter of intent from French investors to purchase the battered poker site. Get caught up to speed on these stories and more in our Weekly Industry Update.

Full Tilt Poker Update: New DOJ Actions and Investor Letter of Intent The week began with a private hearing with the AGCC on Monday. There was no official word from the AGCC on the results of the hearing or the status of the Full Tilt Poker license. The delay is likely attributed to the status of investor negotiations, which according to reports include a letter of intent from unnamed French investors. According to Subject Poker, the terms of the purchase agreement "would provide funds to allow the repayment of account balances to all Full Tilt Poker players worldwide." The DOJ and the AGCC are aware of the letter of intent.

In other major news from the week, the DOJ amended the civil complaint against Full Tilt Poker to add three new defendants: Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson and Rafe Furst. In a statement, the U.S. DOJ alleged that the directors operated the site as a "ponzi scheme" against players that paid $444 million to board members that eventually led to a $300 million plus shortfall as of March of this year. A lawyer for Full Tilt Poker rejects the notion that Full Tilt Poker was a ponzi scheme while acknowledging that the site made mistakes. It's important to note that no criminal charges have been made against the new defendants; however, the DOJ has moved to seize board members funds.

It remains to be seen whether these latest charges affect the sensitive investor negotiations in any way.

  4. Weekly Industry Update Sep 11: Eurobet Closing + Merge Reps. Address Rumors

    by , 09-11-2011 at 01:38 PM
Gala Coral makes a surprise decision by closing their Eurobet brand on September 30th while Merge Gaming representatives address rumors the network may be a target of DOJ enforcement. These stories and more are a part of this week's PAS Weekly Industry Update.

GalaCoral to Close Eurobet, Focus on Coral Poker Longtime PAS partner Eurobet announced last week that they would be closing the Eurobet brand due to "recently enacted changes European legislation," which has effectively resulting in a consolidation of brands. The Gala Coral poker side of the business will now focus on Coral Poker. The transition of players from Eurobet to Coral Poker will not be seemless, but Eurobet representatives have stated to us that they wish to continue working with PAS under the same player and affiliate deal. We have posted an action plan for publishers suggesting Eurobet alternatives detailing a Eurobet migration to Coral Poker.

Merge Gaming Sites Address Rumors: Representatives of Merger Gaming skins have responded to a report that the DOJ is planning action against Merge Gaming in the near future. CarbonChris, a representative from Carbon Poker stated that "player funds ARE segregated and 100% safe" while an RPM rep said that the "license Merge has obtained from the LGA requires this." Merge Gaming is currently the largest site allowing play from U.S. players, although they haven't accepted new sign-ups since early June. A plan to reenter the market has been delayed over the last few weeks.

Latest Traffic Update from PokerScout: PokerScout reported a 0.6% loss in overall traffic over the previous week with non-Poker Stars traffic increasing 1.2%. Merge Gaming traffic decreased approximately 5% resulting in the first time in online poker's history there has not been a U.S. facing room in the top 10. Microgaming and Boss Network were two notable rooms moving up in the traffic rankings.

Full Tilt Poker Update A scheduled hearing originally planned for September 15th has been pushed back to September 19th by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. The original meeting was delayed in late July to allow for exclusive negotiations with European investors to continue, which ended in late August; the room now is reportedly in talks with a half dozen potential investors. Meanwhile in Canada, a new class-action lawsuit has been filed against the company.

  5. More Information for Affiliates Regarding Eurobet Closure

    by , 09-08-2011 at 11:58 PM
We know that as of September 30th Eurobet will be shut down and closed by parent company Gala Coral with Coral Poker becoming the new poker brand. Unfortunately, we also now that players will NOT be automatically migrated to the new site and affiliates will have to market and communicate to players to get them to sign-up through Coral Poker under them.

The good news for PAS publishers is that Coral Poker still wants to still work with PAS in the same capacity that we did before, offering the same exact affiliate and player deals as before, so players will still have the motivation to sign-up through you just as they did before. Unfortunately, a Coral Poker affiliate account can not be created for another week while the site adds multi-currency functionality. So, alternatively you may decide you would like to wish to promote a different brand. On RakeTracker, our retail brand, we have begun to heavily promote Betsafe and will promote Coral Poker when the new affiliate account is set up.

    A PAS Recommended Action Plan

At this time, PAS is suggesting two distinctive action plans. Which one you choose should be dependent on your preferences and how you wish to market to your Eurobet players.

    1) Recommend BetSafe to your players if you prefer promoting a Eurobet alternative. The BetSafe deal is very similar to Eurobet.
    2) Continue to instruct Eurobet players to play on the site until the new Coral Poker affiliate account is created, hopefully by late next week. Players can continue to play at Eurobet until September 30th. We will inform publishers when the account is created.

    Action Plan Details:

    BetSafe:

BetSafe Action Plan Summary: Recommend Betsafe to players as an alternative to Eurobet with a very similar deal

    Highlights of the BetSafe Offer:
    • Up to 50% Revenue Share for affiliates
    • VIP Program
    • 100% up to $2,000 Sign-up Bonus
    • $8,000 Monthly Exclusive PAS Points Race
    • DeucesCracked Free Poker Coaching
    • $125,000 in Monthly Standard Races for September

    Coral Poker
    :

Coral Poker Action Plan Summary: Inform players that they can continue to play on Eurobet until they receive notice in a week that the new Coral accounts are created

Highlights/Details of the Coral Poker Offer:
    • Coral Poker sign-ups will be available in one week
    • 45%+ Revenue Share for affiliates
    • Retags will be supported (in the case of your Eurobet players signing up to the new site directly)
    • Players can send affiliates their Coral information and be retagged once affiliate accounts are created.
    • All points, VIP level etc will be transferred over to the new account
    • Eurobet players that transfer to Coral will also receive a special free $10 and a choice of one of two sign-up offers: $10 deposit for $25 bonus or 100% up to $1,000.

    Important: Final Tips

If you have Eurobet players, we feel it is extremely important to connect with your Eurobet players during this time to explain the best options that you have for them. Contact them through email or Skype and let them know that despite this interruption that their Eurobet playing experience will be very similar on either BetSafe or Coral Poker.

If you would like PAS to send a mailer to your Eurobet players please let us know ASAP. We will send these out soon as possible (probably early next week), based on interest level. In our mailer, we plan on promoting BetSafe as a primary option while also giving instructions to players who prefer to remain with Coral Poker.
