When looking for the best affiliate commissions the highest percent is not always the best deal. All affiliate commission percents are not created equal. It is important to know what each poker room deducts before promoting them. While there are several online poker rooms that do not deduct anything from players most of those poker rooms deduct items from affiliates such as bonuses. Typically the formula is rake - deductions x commission% = payment. There are still a few online poker rooms that do not deduct anything from affiliates. Most of the Everleaf Gaming skins do not deduct anything from either players or affiliates. On top of this Everleaf Gaming skins tend to offer some of the best commissions to affiliates. Since they also accept U.S. players Everleaf is one of the best networks to promote at this moment. There are some Everleaf Gaming skins that do the exact opposite. Some skins actually deduct bonuses dollar for dollar directly from affiliate commissions, not net rake, which is not industry standard. That causes balances to often be negative, especially while attracting new players, as the bonus is 100% deducted directly from your check. None of the Everleaf Gaming skins offered by PAS do this. In fact, no PAS offer on any network deducts anything directly from your commission. Minted Poker, Cellsino Poker, PokerView and RaiseandFold do not pass on any deductions to affiliates. The next best rooms to promote are ones that deduct very few items from MGR, especially when the deducted items are typically tied to higher volume players. Noiq Poker is a good example of this. They only deduct races from MGR. For a player to place in one of their races they would typically have to be a higher raking player. Races are great for player retention so even though races are deducted in the long term the promotion will provide a higher level of player loyalty and retention. Please note that PAS exclusive races and chases are never deducted from affiliate payments. All of the other PAS rooms deduct bonuses and VIP promotions. Some poker rooms deduct deposit fees. Deposit fees are the fees charged by companies that process payments for the poker rooms. The fees range between 3-10% of the deposit amount depending on the country the player resides in and the deposit method used. Sometimes there are fees associated with withdrawals. Typically these are the fees incurred when cashing out players by check, bank wire and cash transfer services. Some online poker rooms have unusual deductions. For example Eurobet deducts 1% off of MGR to cover taxes. Bodog shares the cost of licensing fees with affiliates. In addition to bonuses and VIP being deducted, PokerStars (not offered by PAS) deducts legal, branding and operational costs which put a big dent in affiliate earnings. This is why it is so important to know everything that is deducted so that you are not surprised on pay day. There are too many poker rooms offered by PAS to list every one of them here. We do have a sticky in our forum that goes over all networks and standalone rooms offered by PAS. If you have any questions about a particular poker room feel free to post a question in that forum thread or leave a comment here.
