They continued to bank their own players with their proprietary cashier. Through no fault of Poker World, the network became insolvent and collapsed. Poker World covered all of the losses and paid all of their players in full. This included the player's contributed portion of the bad beat jackpot. That is when they moved to the Cake Poker Network where they still are today. Due to Poker World's commitment to covering the losses that were caused by the Gold Chip Network collapse we feel Poker World gives players a high level of security for their funds.
