It is no secret that the online poker rooms that still accept U.S. players are having problems processing U.S. player payments. Everleaf Gaming - A-

The Everleaf Gaming skins offered by PAS all use the same cashier system. Players can cashout by bank wire and cash transfer. Bank wires are used for large transactions. Cash transfers are made for smaller withdrawals. Bank wires have taken a wide range of time from a few days to two months. Cash transfers are very fast. The speeds are typically 1-3 days.

True Poker/DoylesRoom - B

True Poker and DoylesRoom currently send players a debit card in the mail. When a player requests a cashout the money is added to the debit card. The player can then cash out at any ATM. While the system is convenient and fast the fees are a bit high. Bank wires are a $5000 minimum. This leaves players with medium cashouts in a difficult position of not having a good cashout option.

Merge Gaming - B-

Merge Gaming is the biggest U.S. friendly online poker room. While they are not accepting new U.S. players there are still thousands of U.S. players with accounts there. All of the Merge Gaming skins offered by Poker Affiliate Solutions use the same cashier. In most cases, unless there is a high volume player needing a special transaction, the main cashier processes all cashouts.

While Merge Gaming accepts cash transfer services for deposits they do not offer cash transfers. Instead Merge Gaming sends out payments by couriers such as FedEx. The payments arrive in one of two forms. For cashouts over $1000 the payment is typically by check. If the cashout is less than $1000 players are sent an ATM card that is accepted at all ATM machines. While players are stuck with the fees associated with ATM withdrawals overall players are happy to not have to deal with a check. Typically U.S. players are receiving payment is 3-6 weeks.

Cake Poker - D

Cake Poker handles payments for many but not all skins. Currently Cake Poker only offers U.S. players one cashout option. That option is a check by courier for a max of $3000. These checks are taking 10-12 weeks to process. Players also cannot request another check while a previous one is pending. This means that U.S. players can only request a max of $3000 once every 3 months. In other words a U.S. player is looking at a max cashout of $12,000 a year. To make matters worse players are reporting non U.S. cashouts to ewallets such as Neteller and Moneybookers are taking 3-5 weeks. There is no doubt the loss of UseMyWallet/QuickTender hurt Cake Poker.

World Poker Exchange - F

While this poker room has never been offered by PAS they accept U.S. players and offer a few games every night. World Poker Exchange is the poker offering by the sportsbook World Sports Exchange (WSEX). Once a high grade book WSEX has fallen on hard times. It has been reported that WSEX has slow paid over $450,000 to players, most of whom are in the U.S. Since payouts are extremely late to so many players it is safe to give an F to World Poker Exchange.
