  1. PAS’s Seb Loaiza Wins iGB Award for Best Affiliate Manager

by , Today at 12:15 PM
On Thursday evening the 5th annual iGB Affiliate Awards were held in London to coincide with the London Affiliate Conference running from January 26th to January 29th. As we previously reported, PokerAffiliateSolutions was privileged to be on the shortlist in eleven iGB Affiliate Award categories thanks to the support of PAS publishers, affiliates and fans.

The competition was extremely stiff in all categories but we are extremely pleased to pass along that Seb Loaiza took down the award for the Best Affiliate Manager in the Non Traditional category. The award is an extremely proud moment for Seb and the rest of PAS, as we feel the award is indicative of our hard work over the last year.

The iGB Awards panel spokesman said the following of Seb as he accepted the award:

The judges felt that Seb deserved this award as a result of his passion for relationship management, his friendly personality and upbeat demeanor that is evident in all his relationships, whether managing existing clients or establishing new ones. The judges concluded by saying that Seb is an exceptional affiliate manager. He treats all affiliates like he would like to be treated.
Congratulations to Seb and the rest of the winners in this year’s 2012 iGB Awards! Thanks again to those of you who showed your support for PAS during the nomination period and thanks to the panel for their consideration.

We look forward to continue to serve the internet poker industry in the best way possible in 2012 and beyond.

  2. Coral Poker $25 No Deposit Bonus Running This February

by , Yesterday at 04:58 PM
During February, PokerAffiliateSolutions and Coral Poker are brining back the $25 No Deposit Bonus that we offered last fall. Unlike the previous bonus we offered -- which was limited in availability to former Eurobet players -- this bonus offer will be offered to all new players. This bonus presents a great opportunity for PAS publishers to promote an offer that does not require a deposit. Please note that this bonus will only be open to the first 100 players that request the offer.

    Sign-Up Steps

Players must follow three simple steps to receive this bonus:

    1) The player must use Coral Poker links through a PAS site
    2) Signs up to Coral Poker
    3) Email Coral Poker at pokerpromotions@galacoral.com asking to be credited with $25 No Deposit Bonus.

The player will then receive the $25 bonus within 3 business days while tracking is double checked. Once the bonus is issued, 100 Player Points must be earned, which is the equivalent of about $28 in rake. There is no time limit on completion of the bonus.

    About Coral Poker

Other perks of signing up for Coral Poker include a 100% up to $1,000 sign-up bonus and a VIP program that yields up to $690 in cash bonuses per week.

Coral Poker is a Gibraltar-licensed poker room on the Ongame Network, one of the largest in Europe. Over 4,000 real money players play at Ongame during peak times, with cash games prevelant at No Limit Hold'em, short-handed Fixed Limit and Pot Limit Omaha. Top tournaments include the $200,000 guaranteed ChampionChip tournament held each Sunday.

Players have the ability to play at Coral Poker on an Apple or Windows machine. The poker room also offers a Instant Play version available to Apple and Windows users. A full lineup of deposit and withdrawal options are offered by Coral Poker inluding Neteller, Skrill and popular credit card options.

We anticipate that these No Deposit offers will go quickly, so take that into account when making your February marketing plans.
  3. Adding Multiple Page Blog Posts

    by , 01-25-2012 at 06:33 PM
It is becoming increasingly popular on the internet today to divide long articles into multiple pages. Separating articles into multiple pages can increase the readability of the article on the crucial first glance, making it more likely for your article to be read. A user who sees a page that goes on forever may simply not bother and move on. As long as multi-page posts are used sparingly and with the right amount of content on each page, it can be an effective way to break up content for many of your visitors (although some will still hate multi-page posts with a passion).

Check out a recent article from our YourPokerCash property where we, I think, do a great job of putting this concept into practice.

We thought this article was too large for a single post, but a good opportunity for a multi-page post. Even with the post broken up into headings and other tricks to increase readability, many users are simply not going to want to take on the task of reading such a large article. Break the article up into three pages and suddenly it seems like a less arduous process to undertake as a reader.

Through some simple code, PAS publishers are now able to create multiple page news and blog posts. Here's how...

    1) Enter Top Page Token

At the top of each the pages you will need to enter the new liquid code:

    {% page 1 %}
At the start of each new page, replace the "page x" with the page number of the article.

    2) Enter Bottom Page Token

To end a page simply use this token at the location you would like to end each page (no page number is required):

    {% endpage %}
    3) Add the page links at the bottom of each page

At the end of each page (except the final) you are going to want to have a link to the next page. Typically this is done to the right hand side of the page, almost to give a bit of a "turning the page" type of feel. You can enter the following code at the end of the page but above the "endpage" token:

    Next
Replace "xyz" with the page number you are linking to.

That's it! If you have a long post that you can't brake down through other methods, consider a multiple page post. They should be used sparingly, but if used in the right situations, they can be used with great effectiveness.

  4. Entraction Now Referred to as IGT Poker

    by , 01-24-2012 at 02:23 PM
As of today, PokerAffiliateSolutions will begin referring to the Entraction Network as "IGT Poker." The Entraction Network webpage has moved to the IGT Interactive site and in a recent press release, IGT stated that "all Entraction products will be shown under the IGT brand." Other online poker authorities such as PokerScout have also begun to refer to the network under the new brand.

Last May, International Gaming Technology (IGT) purchased all outstanding shares of Entraction Holding AB in an effort to advance the company's position in regulated online gambling markets. IGT is a global company based in the United States with a market cap of almost $5 billion, making them one of the largest publicly traded companies in the world. The company recently announced that they would be acquiring social media gaming company Double Down.

While IGT Poker looks to enter the U.S. in a future regulated market -- they have already applied for a license in Nevada -- the network has been struggling in Europe, with traffic down over 50% in the last 12 months according to PokerScout, likely due in part to the network's banning of certain top countries including Canada and Russia.

PAS publishers can currently promote NoiQ on IGT Poker.

  5. Party Poker New Player Freeroll Makeup

    by , 01-24-2012 at 06:00 AM
Over the weekend, we received reports from players that there were some issues with the exclusive $3,000 New Player freeroll that was scheduled at Party Poker on January 22nd. Due to the fact many players were not able to register for the freeroll, a makeup freeroll has been scheduled for this Saturday, January 28th. All Party Poker and WPT Poker players that were eligible for January 22nd freeroll will be invited to the makeup.

Party Poker will be sending notifications to all players early this week. The tournament will be available in the Party Poker and WPT Poker lobbies on Thursday. At that point, players will then be able to manually register for the makeup tournament. Please let us know if you have any questions.
