Players Only Affiliate Program Review
Players Only launched after the UIGEA as an offshoot of the US operations of Sportingbet, which is the parent company of Paradise Poker. Players Only joined the Cake network in 2006 and quickly became the largest operator on the network. Seeking to increase their influence they moved to the Merge Gaming network in 2010, bringing along their sister site Sportsbook.com. As of May 1st, they are no longer accepting NEW US players, although existing players can continue to play.
Players Only can currently be promoted as CPA offer. The site does not currently offer rakeback to new players but instead provides a VIP program where players can earn VIP up to 35%. Players Only CPA starts at $135 and increases with traffic. Signups are required to make a $25 deposit and generate $15 in revenue for the Players Only CPA clearance requirement. In September 2010 this was one of the highest converting offers in the PAS network.
Players Only Room Review
Players Only is a major skin on the Merge Gaming Network. Having previously been on the Cake Poker Network, they joined Merge in mid 2010. During peak times, which is a rather late 02:00 GMT due to the large amount of North American players on the Network, can see over 2,300 real money cash game players at the tables. On average, Players Only is home to around 1,600 real money players throughout the day. On average, Players Only is home to around 800 real money players throughout the day. No Limit is by far the most popular game at Players Only, with many players at the Bad Beat Jackpot tables. The Fixed Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha tables also see light action. A large number of additional games are offered but don't run continuously: Limit Hold'em; PL, NL and FL Omaha Hi and Omaha Hi/Lo; PL and FL Stud Hi, Hi/Lo and Razz; and PL and FL 5 Card Draw. A wide variety of mixed games including HORSE, HOSE and RASH are also available. For Sit N Gos, No Limit Hold'em is again the dominant game, but tables can be seen running at Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha and Limit Omaha. For tournament players, the Merge Network is home to over $3 million in guaranteed tournaments per month, and the premier event is a $50,000 guaranteed held on Sunday.
New players signing up at Players Only may take advantage of a 100% up to $650 sign-up bonus. To clear the bonus, players must earn 75 VIP Points per $1 of bonus money. VIPs are earned at a rate of 10 VIPs for every $1 in contributed rake or tournament fees, meaning players will clear the Players Only sign-up bonus at a 13% rakeback rate. Bonuses release in $5 increments and expire after 90 days. In addition to the sign-up bonuses, players are eligible for monthly reload bonuses up to $1000 as part of the VIP program.
Rakeback players at Players Only are also eligible for a VIP program that yields up to 35% in rakeback. The VIP program is based on the contributed method, which means players have to make a contribution to the pot to accumulate VIP Points for a particular hand. Players are able to earn VIP Points toward the VIP program in addition to sign-up and reload bonuses. Players taking advantage of the VIP program are able to exchange points for cash, as well as participate in special freerolls and exchange points for tournament dollars. The higher status level players achieve, the greater rate players will be able to exchange points. The highest rate, 45%, isn't availalbe until players have generated 300,000 Points, or $30,000 in rake.
Existing USA players only have a few options at Players Only (new USA players are not eligible to play on the site). Visa and Mastercard are given as options but your mileage will vary. Cash Transfers are available upon contacting live support from the Players Only client. If you have a Usemywallet account, you will be eligible as long as you have 3 months of active gaming on the site and have made deposits of $500 or more.
