GR88 Affiliate Program Review
GR88 is one of the newest rooms to join the Merge Network. Even though the name and site may be new, the people behind GR88 were the marketing force behind Bodog and have a long history in the industry. In addition to offering a poker room, they also provide an online casino, including games with live dealers.
Because Merge Gaming stopped new rakeback sign-ups in June 2011, publishers are only able to receive revenue-share at GR88. PAS publishers are able up to receive 40% of MGR regardless of how much your players generate. This is a very generous offer for affiliates promoting this room.

GR88 Room Review
GR88 is a site on the Merge Gaming Network. Unlike most sites on Merge Gaming, they do not accept players from the US. Instead, they put much of their focus on Canada and Europe. Merge Gaming is not a top traffic site, but they have tripled in size from where they were in early 2010 and are still growing quite heavily. Peak traffic at GR88 is around 2,300 real money cash game players per day; the average number of players on the site at any given time is over 1,600. Most players gravitate to the No Limit Hold'em tables but action can also frequently be seen at Fixed Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha. Players must earn 75 VIPs per $1 of bonus money to clear the bonus, which is the equivalent of 13% rakeback when cleared alone. Players earn 10 VIPs for every $1 that they contribute to the rake or generate in tournament fees.
GR88 stopped offering rakeback to new players as of June 2011 (existing rakeback players are able to continue earning rakeback). In its place, new GR88 players are offered a VIP program where players receive cash rebates and VIP Points for cash. Frequent players can actually earn close to what rakeback players could. Players also receive FREE Sit N Go coupons when they reach a VIP status level for the first time as well as maintaining a level each month.
GR88 does not currently except new US players but does except US players with old accounts. These players have a variety of options to deposit with. When choosing to deposit via an e-wallet, American players can use Clickpay to deposit or withdraw. Visa is available but has a low success rate. American players are only able to withdraw via check for amounts between $100-$2,500. For non-USA players, Neteller, Moneybookers, Click2pay, EcoCard are available as e-wallet options.
