Website Transfers & Publisher Account Merge Policy
Beginning on November 1st, 2010 the following policy will take affect regarding any requests for Websites within the PAS system to be transferred between two different Publisher Accounts and for any requests to merge Publisher accounts together.
Website Transfers and Publisher Merges
A Website Transfer is a request to transfer one or more websites from a single Publisher account to another single Publisher account. A Publisher 'merge' is, as it pertains to this policy, the transfer of all websites under a single Publisher account from that Publisher to another single Publisher account.
Service Charge
Effective November 1st, 2010, any requests for a Website Transfer or Publisher Merge will be subject to a one-time service fee of $250 USD. This fee will be due immediately upon making a website transfer request and can be made via an adjustment to your PAS Account Balance or via several alternative payment methods (please inquire).
A transfer may NOT include more than two Publisher accounts. If multiple Publisher accounts are involved then multiple Website Transfers must be requested, each of which are subject to the service fee and policies outlined in this document.
Requesting a Transfer
Please follow the steps below in order to request a Website Transfer or Publisher Account Merge.
- Open a Publisher Helpdesk Ticket from either of the two Publisher accounts that are involved and include the following information:
- Identify which Website(s) are to be transferred.
- Identify which Publisher account currently owns the website(s).
- Identify which Publisher account they should be moved to.
- How you will be paying the $250 service fee.
- Any additional information relevant to the requested transfer.
- The other Publisher (the one that did not submit the request in Step 1) will then need to open a second Publisher Helpdesk ticket and confirm the Transfer request. PAS may request additional information from either Publisher in order to verify and confirm that the request is valid and authentic.
- PAS will then schedule the Transfer and will notify both Publishers of the schedule via the Helpdesk Tickets opened in Steps 1 & 2.
- Once the transfer is complete you will be notified via a final update to both of the Helpdesk Tickets.
Scheduling
Upon confirming that a transfer request is valid and authentic (Step 2 in 'Requesting a Transfer') we will schedule the transfer to be performed. The transfer will be scheduled to take place to take place within 14 days of receiving this final confirmation. Should PAS be unable to complete the transfer according to the scheduled time a complete refund of the service fee described above will be issued to your PAS Account and we will make every effort possible to get the transfer completed as soon as is possible at no additional cost to you.
Misc. Notes
When requesting any type of Website Transfer please keep the following issues in mind:
- ALL players, and their associated trackers, which are attached to the Website(s) involved in a given transfer *MUST* be transferred along with the website. Players must be able to continue to login and service their accounts, as they had been able to do prior to any transfer, which requires that these associated players (and their associated data) be transferred as well.
- All monies owed to the 'original' Publisher due to commissions earned on Players (who are associated with a website that is involved in a transfer) *WILL* be transferred to the 'new' Publisher account. Please keep this in mind when prior to entering in to any transactions involving a PAS Publisher Account or Website!
