Managing your rakeback site
Basic management of your site(s) and offers is handled in this section of the Publisher Control Panel.
Website Summary
Here you can see your site name(s), URLs, and status. You can edit your default site settings, as well as enable or disable your site(s).
Under the ‘Enabled’ heading, a check mark in the box indicates a live site. Clicking on the box again removes the checkmark and disables your site; it will not be viewable via the web.
The ‘Website Name’ heading is the name of your site. This is a clickable link, and leads to the Website Settings page.
Website Settings
Website settings may be accessed either by clicking on the Website Name or by clicking Edit Settings under the Website Settings heading.
Under ‘Name’, you may change the name of your site.
Under ‘Domain’, you may change the domain your PAS rakeback site is pointing to.
When ‘Enabled’ is checked, your site is live. When unchecked, it is disabled.
Under ‘Self-Managed Support’, you can select to manage your own support by checking this box. If left unchecked, support tickets are handled by PAS. This is the default setting.
Global News Status determines whether your site will display news items generated at the Global level (that is, by PAS). This can be set to Visible or Hidden. There is currently no way to selectively choose which posts will appear; it’s all or none.
Add New Website
This option takes you through PAS’ simple three-step process for creating a new site. This is the same process you followed when creating your first site. You may add as many new sites to your publisher account as you like.
- Step 1: Add new site name
- Step 2: Choose type of domain
- Step 3: Select layout and color
After completing these steps, your new site(s) will be visible in the Website Summary page.
Website Offers
Available rakeback and bonus offers may be accessed either through the ‘Website Offers’ option in the Rakeback Websites dropdown menu, or by clicking on the Edit Offers link under the ‘Website Offers’ heading in Website Summary.
There are two primary options on this page. The first is to simply reorder your offers list. Click on ‘Reorder’ and you may then drag and drop each offer into a desired location. You may want to alphabetize them, for example, or list them by offer percentage. Any changes made here are reflected on your rakeback website.
Another option is to edit the payment structure for a given offer. Keep in mind that the revenue earned by the publisher on a given offer per player is the difference between the ‘Your Reward’ and ‘Member Reward’ as shown on the Offers listing. So if your reward is 40%, and the member’s reward is 33%, then you are earning 7% on a player’s MGR for that offer. This amount can be adjusted by clicking on the Edit Settings link on the right side of the offers table.
Editing Offers
There are two options you may edit here. First, you may select whether this offer is enabled by clicking on the checkbox labeled ‘Enabled’. Enabled offers are visible on your rakeback site.
You may edit the member’s reward. The percentage amount may be any number up to the publisher’s award percentage. For example, if your (the publisher’s) award percentage is 40%, you cannot set the member’s reward to 41% or higher.
Common Questions about Rakeback and Bonus Offers
How can I offer a higher rakeback percentage to my players?
Many sites strictly enforce maximum percentages that cannot be exceeded. Such rules are strictly enforced and Poker Affiliate Solutions cannot tolerate any rakeback sites that do not adhere to those rules. We will continue to offer the maximums allowed on our offers but cannot increase them for you.
Can I offer a particular promotion or bonus in additional rakeback to my players?
If a poker site is offering a bonus or promotion to all its players, then your players will qualify when the sign up. You may promote these offers as long as you represent their terms accurately. If you have questions about a particular offer or promotion please contact publishers@pokeraffiliatesolutions.com
Why do some offers only appear when I am logged in to my rakeback site?
Some sites have strictly enforced policies about how rakeback can be advertised for their site. Poker Affiliate Solutions complies with all policies regarding advertisement of rakeback and in a few cases this results in offers only being viewable when logged in.
Can my players sign up for rakeback at a poker site where they already have an account?
In the majority of cases the answer to this is a definitive no. However, we encourage you to contact us at support@pokeraffiliatesolutions.com to discuss options for your players. In many cases there are alternative poker sites that have the same player base where a new rakeback account can be obtained. Also, in rare cases, a poker site may be offering rakeback to existing players under specified conditions.
What happens to existing sign-ups if I change my offers?
If a player signs up for 20% at Ultimate Bet, for example, then you change the offer to 25%, all new signups will get calculated at 25%. Existing players stay at the amount they signed up under. If you want all your players at 25% you will have to go in and manually change each player, or you can email us and ask us to change ALL of your players at site X to Y%.
Can I raise the percentages of rakeback I am giving to my players?
You can adjust the Default Percentages that control how rakeback is distributed to both you and your players by Editing Offers. However many offers are capped, meaning that the poker site restricts how much rakeback can be returned to players. In these cases you will not be able to raise the rates above the allowed limits.
