Cake Poker Affiliate Program Review
Cake Poker is a highly desirable site to play online poker for many players, especially those from the US. The site is the flagship site of the appropriately named Cake Poker Network, the 3rd most popular online network or site to accept players from the US, behind only Merge and Bodog. Because of this, advertising Cake Poker is a great way to bring revenue to your site if you receive a lot of traffic from the United States.
At Cake Poker, we offer a host of commission options for publishers including rakeback, revenue share, CPA and even free bankrolls. Dealt rakeback of 33% is arguably the most attractive in the industry. Note that while players will not receive deductions to their rakeback, certain items are deducted from affiliate commissions. For those wishing to take part in a revenue share deal, Cake Poker will pay up to 35% of what your player generates. Affiliates will start out at 30% and then move up to 35% once $10,000 in generated during the month. CPA affiliates will be offered a hybrid of $100 plus 15% of all MGR.
Cake Poker Room Review
Cake Poker is the flagship site on Cake Poker Network. They are a medium sized site overall but still the 3rd largest site or network to accept players from the USA. During peak time, which is approximately 21:30 GMT on most days, they average around 1,100 real money ring game players. Throughout the entire day they average approximately 720 cash game players No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha are the games of choice at Cake Poker, with light action at the Fixed Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo tables. A tab for Stud is also available; however, there are currently no tables offered. For Sit N Gos and Multi-table tournaments, No Limit Hold’em is also the dominate game, with over $4 million a month in guaranteed tournaments. Sit N Go tables are offered for Fixed Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo and Pot Limit Omaha, but run relatively infrequently.
Cake Poker offers a sign-up bonus of 110% up to $600. To clear the bonus, players must earn 16.67 FPPs per $1 of bonus money. FPPs are earned according to the rake taken from the table at a rate of 0.50 FPPs per $1 in rake for rakeback players; non-rakeback players will earn FPPs at a rate of 1 FPP per $1 in rake or tournament fees. A contribution to the pot is not required to get credit for an FPP. At tournaments and Sit N Gos, 3.5 FPPs are awarded for each $1 in buy-in fees. All this equates to a clearance rate of 27% at full ring, 18% shorthanded and 21% at tournaments and double for non-rakeback players.
Players are also eligible for 33% rakeback at Cake Poker, also based on the dealt method. Bonuses are not deducted from MGR so players receive total returns of 60% at full ring, 51% shorthanded and 54% at tournaments when clearing a bonus with rakeback. Rakeback is paid to Cake Poker accounts every Thursday for the previous Wednesday through Tuesday period. Players can even monitor their rakeback directly from their account page. In addition to the bonuses not being deducted, none of the great in-house promotions such as the Loyalty Levels Reward program, Gold Chips, Gold Card or Gold Sprees are deducted.
Cake Poker offers a huge amount of deposit options for players and even a few different choices for USA players. Americans can deposit with Visa, Mastercard and Electron, although your mileage will definitely vary with the latter. Players may also deposit with a Local Money Transfer. When withdrawing, players are only given the option of withdrawing by check; however, there is a $500 minimum. There is no fee on the first check withdrawal per month but the fee will be $35 on subsequent withdrawals. Non-USA options include e-wallets such as Neteller, Moneybookers, Ecocard, and Webmoney; credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Maestro, Delta, Diners Club; and many region-specific options like Giropay (Germany), Poli (Australia), Laser (Ireland) and DK (Denmark).
